US intel signals Putin not directly to blame for Navalny’s untimely death: Reports

U.S. intelligence agencies signal that Russian President Vladimir Putin may not have planned for Alexei Navalny to have died when he did, a new report said.

The Wall Street Journal report said U.S. agencies have determined that Putin likely didn’t order Navalny to be killed in February, but it doesn’t entirely excuse him from responsibility.

The determination has been shared and agreed upon by officials at the Central Intelligence Agency, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the State Department’s intelligence unit.

Navalny, a Russian opposition leader, rose to prominence for his campaign against corruption and Putin. When he died in the remote Arctic penal colony at the age of 47, his death shocked the world, and fingers were immediately pointed at Putin.

The Russian Federal Prison Service said he felt unwell after a walk and lost consciousness. An ambulance was called and crews tried to rehabilitate him, but they were unsuccessful.

Navalny had been imprisoned since 2021 when he came back to Russia after recovering from a poisoning that he blamed on Putin. The Russian president denied the allegations.

HOLY S**T…

Remember when the MSM launched a coordinated campaign to blame Navalny’s death on Putin?

Turns out that was all a lie, and the WSJ just admitted it.

As myself and many others told you, Putin stood nothing to gain from Navalny’s death, but that didn’t stop the MSM from capitalizing on a good tragedy.

The damage is already done, and the brainwashed public have already been programmed to believe the lie. Most will not see the retraction, and the cycle continues. Perception is power.

You mean, it “wasn’t Putin’s fault?”

This must be Russian propaganda. /Sarc

U.S. intelligence agencies? Who the heck would believe anything they say? Those guys mix lies and stupidity so freely that their credibility is essentially zero.

So did Putin really have Navalny killed? I have no idea. I do know that if the CIA said 1+1=2, I’d have to check that on at least three different calculators.

Like “the intelligence community” is doing Putin a favor by anonymously absolving him.

Pathetic.

There was no reason to kill the Yale trained CIA stooge. He reached his zenith of popularity more than a decade ago and turned into a nobody from there. People just like to pretend he was a threat to Putin.

What do we or our intelligence services gain by sharing/stating this? Especially while engaged in a proxy war with Russia? It’s good to know the truth. I just wonder, if it’s so, why the favor?

If by finding no fault with Putin in the death of one of his poltical opponents while they were serving a sentence...

...might there be some expectation of a kind of quid-pro-quo if a similar incident occurs with a current (or perhaps future) US administration?

“...ambulance was called and crews tried to rehabilitate him, but they were unsuccessful.”
Perhaps they should have tried to rescusitate him and left rehab for later when he was back on his feet./S
