What crap. Laundry, cleaning, cooking etc. are not demeaning, they are essential parts of living. When I was a bachelor executive I performed these tasks and didn't feel demeaned.

Gavin McInnes had a good point. In the days when women did the housework and men went to work, men would come home and tell his wife the high points of his day, such as a joke he heard or gossip. Women often had the impression that the work place was an all day party and compared the drudgery of home to that.

Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinem wreaked a lot of havoc. My older sister subscribed to MS for a time - as a 14-year old I loved the lingerie ads! Thankfully she quickly outgrew it (and Playboy was much more explicit).
