Ghetto-nurtured Bragg, which AA contrived to turn into a non-performing DA, is claiming that:
<><>anyone committing a misdemeanor as per NY law
<><>(supposedly making a “false business entry”)
<><>in order to conceal the commission of another misdemeanor
<><>(braindead Bragg dreamed this up as promoting one’s candidacy in an unlawful manner).......
<><>but just like magic – Bragg waves his magic wand,
<><>and converts the misdemeanors into 34 felony offenses.

Jonathan Turkey took this apart yesterday, totally demolishing the case. Just lawfare pure and simple, designed to sap Trump’s resources and sabotage Trump’s ability to campaign.

All democrats should be nervous

LOL...you cannot legally “promote or prevent election.”
What, exactly, do political campaigns do? You’d have to arrest everybody who has ever run for office.

This allegation was not in the Indictment or the Statement of Facts. Trump’s legal team should move to dismiss this case based upon the critical omission.

The cases against POTUS45 can be boiled down to this...
Prosecutor: “ORANGE MAN BAD!”
DC/New York juries: “GUILTY!!”

violation of a New York law called 'conspiracy to promote or prevent electionIn other words, campaigning is illegal in NY?
I mean, candidates who are campaigning are either "promoting" their election or "preventing" the election of the other guy. And to the extent that they have donors and a staff, they are certainly "conspiring" to do so.

"Any two or more persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means"...
You can promote or try to prevent an election. You just can't use break the law in the process.

‘conspiracy to promote or prevent election.’
What an amazing coincidence. That’s what they are doing with this trial.

Note the words PROMOTE and PREVENT.
but it is a misdemeanor, not a felony.
