If the supremes rule that the then president Trump conspired with others to influence a presidential election outcome... Biden should be in deep trouble. This is exactly what he and his JD and FBI and many others have been and continue to do now.
How would you like to put your future freedom in the hands of advice you get from merrick garland?
With regard to a "muddled decision" I am not sure what exact steps by Trump have been established and determined in the lower courts to be actionable and would want to read all the briefs by the parties and others here. It is an enormous issue for the Left and would make its immediate future a lot less complicated, a closely split decision along party lines would not be surprising.
A precedent could also easily be set by this case that firmly establishes the authority of the entrenched bureaucracy to control future presidents.
Not only passive control, but actively undermine and sabotage as the record shows.
Okay, maybe you can help me understand what you thought went well with the hearing.
I felt it didn’t go well for President Trump based on the questions Sauer couldn’t answer.
Questions to Sauer by Alito and ACB has me a little concerned, especially when they bring up Blassingame as precedent- that was settled in favor of the officer and not Trump.
I’m hoping I’m just being overly sensitive about their tone and that others are right, but Sauer didn’t blow me away with his responses to the hypotheticals brought up. I’m not ready to give up yet!
None of this matters because it won’t change my vote at all. Even if I have to write him in, I’m with Trump.
No telling, but libs now saying it won’t matter. Court calendars are now after the election.
Is it too much to ask to mention the case name when talking about oral arguments or supreme court decisions?
