Her mother appears to only be a proper muslim woman when it is to her advantage-she wears her turban/headress for the cameras, but that is just about all-she appears to be americanized when she is off camera. She was having an affair with the WASP guy she is married to now when he was married and she was married to Ali Hirsi, her kids’ father-with all the scandal, they both ended up divorced and married each other.
