Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) called on the president of Columbia University to do her “job or resign” amid ongoing unrest and heightened concern for Jewish students’ safety on campus.
In a post on social platform X, Fetterman compared aspects of the anti-Israel protests to the infamous Charlottesville rally in 2017, when white supremacists chanted “Jews will not replace us” near the campus of the University of Virginia.
“I fully agree with the White House — these ‘protests’ are antisemitic, unconscionable, and dangerous. Add some tiki torches and it’s Charlottesville for these Jewish students,” Fetterman wrote in a statement Sunday night.
“To @Columbia President Minouche Shafik: do your job or resign so Columbia can find someone who will,” he continued.

Minouche Shafik is a Muslim.
At this point I prefer him over most Republicans, but that’s not really saying much.
The Dems sure are scared that this will be Biden’s Charlottesville moment, but for real this time.
All of these anti Israel protests are being organized by the same folks that organize antifa riots. These are Markist revolutionaries. They need to be identified and published, and then run out of the country with intensive campaigns. I would contribute to that effort and many else would if we can find someone to take up that mission. They are NOT organic protests but are destroying our country.
She should go back to Egypt.

What happened to the original Fetterman? The one that did not have an original thought or could not put two words together, where did he go?
Fetterman’s body is on ice somewhere. This is his body double.

I tend to agree except there is one big difference. The democrat incumbent is currently in office, so a lot of violence and destruction and hate are not going to help him unless they can control the narrative and claim that Biden is somehow the solution, which I don’t see them accomplishing.
Remember 1968. Nixon was the law-and-order candidate.
It has to be said John Fetterman is saying more than anyone in Congress . 6 foot nine and he’s angry. This is a reverse David and Goliath story.
The president of Columbia and the citizens of Pennsylvania could all say the same thing to the demented Senator Fetterman; “Do your job or resign.”
