Conservative Lawyers Reveal Retaliation They Faced Over Politics

A California bar court judge ruled in late March that John Eastman should be disbarred for helping President Donald Trump challenge the outcome of the 2020 election.

Before the California Supreme Court reviews the case, Mr. Eastman asked a judge to pause the order prohibiting him from practicing law, so he could fund his defense in the criminal case brought against President Trump and his attorneys in Georgia.

Jeffrey Clark, who also tried to help President Trump, is facing a similar disbarment hearing in Washington. The focal point is a “proof of concept” letter he drafted for President Trump in December 2020 that would have asked top Georgia officials to investigate alleged voter fraud in the state.

Mr. Clark and Mr. Eastman are the latest attorneys to face backlash from their profession over their actions. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giulliani’s license was suspended in June 2021.

These attorneys have expressed to The Epoch Times a fear that legal proceedings and the legal profession as a whole are increasingly used to pursue lawyers on the right more than lawyers on the left.

Ty Clevenger, a civil rights attorney from Texas, said the alleged politicization of lawyer disciplinary actions sends the wrong signals.

“The message that’s going out to lawyers is that if you represent the wrong clients, you can pay for it personally. And so it’s not just lawyers who are being intimidated. It’s all the defendants or potential defendants out there who are going to have or are having more difficulty getting lawyers because lawyers don’t want to have to deal with repercussions,” he told The Epoch Times.

All of the safeguards added to the Constitution, have been overthrown by dead wrong democrats... and no interference from the acquiescent let-them-have-it republicans.

The dems are the bullies in the arena and no one stops them over anything. There is no guts ...

All those in congress...supposed to serve the people...They have stopped serving and are just talking/no intervention.. no charges against the crimes..just let it all go.

Where are we? there is a deeply corrupted government.. every single dept is corrupt.. and a gop that does not care. they jail anyone they don’t like...for the reason they let others go undisturbed.. they threaten us all.. they steal and lie to get their way.. how did this happen?
Just like spoiled bratty kids, who got that way due to no discipline.. letting it go.. Same in government.. they have become royalty and we are the serfs... it has just gotten worse because it wasn’t challenged and stopped.

One more thing to add here.
The people who hate Trump. Do they have a reason? I mean a logical reason? If you understand him, you like him and vote for him, knowing he cares and will do the best, keeping the people and love of country, in mind. Not so with the others.
For those who hate just because someone told them to or for whatever reason.. If you can’t see the good in him, it’s a pretty good sign you are one who lives minus God in your life. to know God, is to have a kindred spirit with all He loves. To not know God, you are on your own and the voices you hear on the networks’ news.. forms your opinion.

Political commentator Tucker Carlson said that politicians are “terrified” of intelligence agencies framing them with “kiddie porn” if they oppose warrantless spying on Americans. Carlson made the stunning allegation on an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” that aired on Friday.

The former Fox News host told Rogan that lawmakers have personally told him they fear retaliation from the intelligence community if they oppose reauthorizing Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

“People don’t say that because they’re worried about being punished,” Carlson said. “They’re worried about someone putting kiddie porn on their computer. Members of Congress are terrified of the intel agencies. I’m not guessing at that. They’ve told me that — including people on the intel committee, including people who run the intel committee.”

“The people whose job it is to oversee and keep in line these enormous, secretive agencies whose budgets we can’t even know — their ‘black budgets,’” Carlson added. “They’re the parents, the agencies are the children. They’re afraid of the agencies. That’s not compatible with democracy.”

Carlson reiterated that politicians are supporting “warrantless spying” on American citizens because “they’re threatened.”

This is happening in corporate America as well. Leftist executives are finding ways to eliminate openly conservative executives from the leadership ranks of many companies.....just as they did in universities.

You will see it in churches and community groups as well.

The deck was stacked against us for the past 50 years, but has become ridiculously lopsided in favor of the left in the last 15.
