Maybe they'll invite Zelensky back to the house for a victory speech.

No, not at all. Support from the opposition is irrelevant.

Because the “Hastert Rule” was always an affront to Article 1 of the Constitution.

So, you favor a Republican Speaker siding with Democrats that openly have more love for the globalist honey hole in Ukraine than they do for this country and its people?

Obama and Biden corrupted the Ukraine in their “own special way” and were instrumental in putting a cross-dressing stand-up comic in charge - F the Ukraine...

If a bill, ANY bill, passes almost 3-1, doesn’t that indicate there is reason to bring it to the floor?
______________________________________________________
Why filibuster a bill in the Senate if it could easily pass?
Why allow a vote on a popular bill if you have the leverage to get concessions on something else (like the border)?

The one thing you will never see is these people waving American Flags chanting USA. USA.
They should all be impeached.

Meanwhile, if the Strait of Hormuz closes we have 17 days of oil supply in our Strategic Reserve.
If the Strait closes, tankers will just go the long way around. We also produce quite a bit of oil - it's not like everything just stops and we only draw from the Reserve.. But if we did, you bet your ass it'd be held for military purposes, no way it's a good idea to just dump it into everyone's gas tanks!

That gravestone has always bothered me. The USA was not born on July 4,1776. That was when the colonial rebellion started against England. The signing of the Constitution in 1787 was the official beginning of the United States of America.

I favor a functional Congress, able to address foreign and domestic threats in a unified way.
All politics is “the art of the possible.” Without 67 Senators and 2/3 of the House to override cloture and veto threats, it’s all hollow posturing.
I do not favor turning Congress into a smoking wreck, which is what some here seem to favor.
