I agree with WomBom. Trump is targeting PA voters with this rally. Where do voters in the Philly suburbs go in the summertime? They head down the shore. Many summer homes at the shore are owned by PA residents, and Trump won Cape May County in 2016 and 2020. His 2020 WW rally attracted thousands, even though it was a cold January day. Now, this rally will be held on the beach in May. Even the PA voters who don’t go to this rally will be paying attention. Maybe he’ll never win NJ, but PA is winnable.
I see your point but think it would be more impactful towards the PA race if he just went to Philly. Forcing cameras to record the carnage in neighborhoods like Kensington, the fentanyl Capitol of the NE, would be unforgettable.
