Pretty good report. This is a fairly big volcano & will be rated bigger if it keeps erupting.
Nice graphic of the potential atmospheric effects, and there's some distant photography of the many lightning strikes, too.

Our very active Earth. I would love to observe one at a safe distance. Seems like more earthquakes and volcanic eruptions lately, or is it just better coverage?

report includes past mega-volcanoes effect on temperature. Mt. Pinatubo 1991 and several others over last 150 years reduced temps 1-3°.
