Leading Russia Watcher in China Makes Surprise Ukraine War Prediction
Newsweek ^ | 16 April 1963 | Micah McCartney

Posted on 04/16/2024 3:21:43 PM PDT by Apparatchik

A Chinese specialist on Russia has delivered a grim forecast for Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine: that it is doomed to fail.

Peking University professor Feng Yujun is also cooling on the future of Beijing-Moscow relations, writing in a recent op-ed in The Economist that the two nations have diverging visions of the future of global affairs.

So you come right out of the gate comparing FR unfavorably to China. Pure scum. Zeepers are just plain creepy.

“How does it feel to have been wrong about everything?”

Didn’t you say Putin would take Kiev in a few weeks a while back?

They did take Kiev, only to pull back as part of the March, 2022 peace talks, the so-called Istanbul Communiqué. Use your Google machine for help.

Why would they give it back? When exactly did the Ukrainian evacuation happen?

Sweet! So is China going to help Ukraine now? Send them money and weaponry?

Because we can’t afford it anymore. We never really could with Diaper-Dude at the helm.

And Ukraine grifting China - now that would be entertaining to watch.

No. Why would Putin give Kiev back after fighting so hard to take it?

Your assertion makes no sense.

Unless of course it’s complete BS.

Bad news for Russia and Russia's supporters in FR and elsewhere.

Put up or shut up. Every inch of territory Russia controls will remain in its control after this war is over. If you disagree, let's make a wager. Say, $500 to a future Freep-a-thon? Of course, you won't take that bet because you knows these claims are bullsh%t.

Ukraine is losing ground DAILY. The Russians have destroyed a significant percentage of Ukraine's electric grid and, obviously, have the capability of totally disabling it.

All you're doing to by encouraging Ukrainians to continue this war is assuring more Ukrainians die and that Ukraine loses more territory.

Russia, you clownish buffoon, never took Kiev nor did they intend to with 40,000 troops.

These are the kind of straw man arguments you have to come up with to mask the fact Ukraine has lost more than 40,000 square miles of territory and, now, is losing ground daily as it frontlines crumble.

And the funny part is that he unequivocally believes what Newsweek says.

“Ukraine is losing ground DAILY.”

A couple inches at a time, apparently.

“Russians have destroyed a significant percentage of Ukraine’s electric grid.”

Deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure is a war crime.

“ Is Professor Lo affiliated with the law firm of Dewey, Cheatham, & Howe?”
******************************************************

I don’t know about that. But, coincidentally, Professor Lo has a brother (Wee Tu Lo) who was the co-pilot of Asiana Flight 214 that crash landed at San Francisco International Airport about ten years ago with several fatalities.

Targeting civilians in Donetsk, using them as human shields, shelling nuclear plants and target Russian civilians like Daria Dugina are ALL war crimes that Ukrainians are all guilty of along with the Biden regime that signed off on it all.

As Putin had said, compared to their enemies, the Russians are white, fluffy angels.

Like leftists, your hypocrisy is brazen and laughable.

Take your holier-than-thou BS and stick up your rectum.
