Colorado House Democrats passed “assault weapons” ban legislation Sunday to prohibit the sale of AR-15s and certain 9mm pistols.
On March 20, 2024, Breitbart News reported that the legislation, HB24-1292, bans 9mm pistols that have threaded barrels and accept a detachable magazine.
Moreover, the text of HB24-1292 makes clear that a semiautomatic handgun of any caliber would be banned if it takes a detachable magazine and has a threaded barrel.

Mile high on what?
Does this ban include illegals and criminals not having any?
They were an essential part of the original Clinton assault weapon ban, later repealed.
After repeal the number of drive-by bayonetings went through the roof.
Now I don't hear about them too much.
My Uranium PU-36 Explosive Space Modulator has a USB plug in and multiple bayonet lugs. It is also undetectable from radar. It fires a round that is 12,000 degrees farenheit.
Bring it Colorado.
threads on a pistol do not make it ‘more dangerous’- unconstitutional ban all around!
CO is for people too crazy for CA.
Colorado is a historical example of how libs flood into an area and turn it socialist.
My BIL has one his Father brought back from WWII.
Bet he'll be able to get a pretty penny, for it, in CO, now!/sarc
that famous “Rocky Mountain high” drug tripping is really really getting out of hand!

They’re doing some real good cracking down on criminals there aren’t they!?
But hey, they’re not really coming for your guns and your right and your freedoms. Nope. They just want “common sense”. 🤬
Supreme Court (Bruen): You may not ban firearms that are in common use for self-defense.
Leftists in CA, CO, IL, etc: Watch us ban firearms that are in common use for self-defense. We have tons of lefty judges that will chew up all your money and spit in the face of the Supreme Court ruling until you get to a reasonable appeal court, if you haven’t gone bankrupt and out of business before then. If we lose, we’ll change three words and do it again and make you sue us from step one again.
“Constitution” ha. “Rule of law” rofl.
CO ping
Molon labe!

These bans are all the result of low-impulse-control drug gang members, addled by their own addictive product, that shoot each other over the control of the drug addicted market. As drugs pour in over the Biden Regime’s open borders, the gang murder rate will continue to rise. Without the illegal drug industry, the possession of guns would be for something far more important: self-protection rather than murder.
The guns possessed by the illegal drug pushers come from Mexican police departments that purchase those guns directly from the gun manufacturer. The drug cartels pay the Mexican poorly funded police departments much needed money for those guns. That way they can get guns, that are not registered, which will go to the gang members (the drug sales force).
With a thriving illegal drug industry, the city leaders’ pockets are lined by the drug cartels to insure doors are open for the distribution of their commodity. It is to the city leaders’ benefit to have the illegal drug industry profiting from their drug sales: More bribe money for them.
The assault on gun ownership is to make the voters falsely think their leaders are doing something.
No rifling in barrels?
That makes it a blunderbuss.
Who knows where the bullet will go?
Gun companies should refuse to sell their products to any government backed agency that impose nonsense such as this. Much like BCM’s policy, “...Bravo Company’s policy is that law enforcement officials and departments will be restricted to the same type of products available to responsible private individuals of that same city or state.”
Hold on there. If barrels aren’t threaded, how will forensic ballistic analysis work on a weapon that is fired? I do not have much knowledge on this subject.
