Condemned, yet told Isreal to not strike back! Would he say the same if Iran or someone tried that against the US homeland? We know he's already been ignoring attacks against Americans and our military overseas. He defends Iran, defends HAMAS, denies Israel their defense and that tells us he'd likely do the same for us if our homeland were attacked.

This wasn't a small skirmish or misunderstanding, this was an all-out attack. And yet Biden tells Israel to turn the other cheek and stand down.

And yet Biden tells Israel to turn the other cheek and stand down.

I'm sure Israel had its own set of conditions to not retaliate. I hope they extracted more than Biden wanted to give. He's not very smart.

This was not an all out attack. The leadership of Iran is insane, and nuclear weapons, no matter how that would end for Iran, are not out of the question when you are dealing with that mindset. Look at this attack and look at October 7 - both are carefully calculated provocations. No meaning other than to provoke a response. Sometimes the best strategy is not to respond.

Biden plying both sides of the fence. It is an election year.

I am certain he plans to cheat but he has to make it look like he didn’t. He has to bullchit his voting blocs.

Did Israel do anything in Iran’s mind to provoke Iran? Or was this unwarranted on Iran’s part?

Biden paid for the Iran attack with the billions and billions he gave Iran.

“Sometimes the best strategy is not to respond.”

I don’t think not responding is politically possible for Netanyahu. He was politically damaged as the Oct 7 attacks occurred on his watch, but I’ll bet the intel mindset that made the failure possible was probably institutionalized long ago. The current leader of any bureaucratic organization is mostly like a new paint job on an old car. The car isn’t new or improved by the new paint.

If Netanyahu fails to respond he’ll be compounding the bad image he has now. It is political poison. Now, he may respond with a cyber-attack. The problem with that is it’s a one-shot weapon as Iran will learn from it and adjust. Just plastering Iran’s proxies probably won’t work either. He’ll probably look at the weapons that were effective at getting through Israel’s defenses and strike at those weapons that are deployed and the manufacturing facilities.

His ability to respond will be hampered by the Biden administration and the fact that Iran is one heck of a long haul away over mostly unfriendly and well-armed countries. Those countries would need to agree to stand down and they likely won’t as they don’t want to be collateral damage from an Iranian response.

Another option is to assassinate someone inside Iran. That’s a whole kettle of other problems down the road.

Or, he could hit Kharg Island with a few missiles. But that might bump world oil prices and he’d be blamed for that suffering.

Problems, problems.

Biden is just trying to schmooze Bibi so he won’t attack Iran again because he knows what Netanyahu is up to - he’s hoping to expand the war so to involving the US. It’s been said that Biden admin officials have been in contact with Iran almost as much as they’ve been in contact with Israel, making a deal with them that they could save face by going forward with an attack on Israel just as long as that wouldn’t result in casualties and that’s what transpired.

If Iran really intended to cause serious damage they wouldn’t have announced the time and date giving Israel time to set up signal jammers and evacuate vulnerable positions. Sending those slow moving drones such a long distance made it simple to knock them all down. If Iran was serious they would have fired off a series of the advanced hypersonic missiles they possess. This was all just a manufactured performance for the world stage.

Biden “told Isreal to not strike back!” Would he say the same if Iran or someone tried that against the US homeland?

NO he would say the same, and negotiate.

Bet your bottom dollar on that fact. He would have the military stand down, as they confiscated the guns out of the hands of the racists who fail to welcome the new Citizens.

Do people still not understand? We live in a post American nation. We are living under a government that doesn’t give one good gawd dam about the people who were born, raised and died for it.

An Iranian embassy building in Syria was bombed. I am not sure if Israel admitted it publicly but everyone believes Israel hit it. Also I think it was the adjunct building not the main building but Iran sees it as a strike on their territory, which it sort of technically is as a diplomatic building. They also have a mutual defense pact with Syria. Anyway Iran had a couple of field generals in that building, presumably there to coordinate with Hezbullah in Lebanon. Israel strikes Syria pretty routinely now, taking out Iranian supplies crossing over into Lebanon. They bomb runways and convoys etc, and that building, to disrupt supplies and coordination between Iran and its proxies.

“Or, he could hit Kharg Island with a few missiles. But that might bump world oil prices and he’d be blamed for that suffering.”

Oil prices are a big part of that. The other thing is if Israel takes out Kharg Island, Iran then tells Hezbollah to take out Israel’s Tamar and Leviathan gas fields. There are no easy answers when it comes to solving the problem over there. Iran is much more of a regional power than people think, especially with its proxy militia’s throughout the region.

It’s surprising Biden did not mention the help he gave Israel.

There’s Biden’s 2023 Oct 7-related arms handout to Israel:
<><>57,000 155mm artillery shells
<><>more than 5,000 Mk82 unguided or “dumb” bombs,
<><>more than 5,400 Mk84 2,000 pound warhead bombs,
<><>around 1,000 GBU-39 small diameter bombs,
<><>approximately 3,000 JDAMs, which turn unguided bombs into guided “smart” bombs,
<><>BLU-109 bunker busters w/ 2,000 pound warheads designed to penetrate concrete shelters.

There’s Biden/Obama’s $38 billion deal that covers fiscal years 2019-2028 that includes:
<><>-annual US payments to Israel of $3.3 billion in “military financing,”
<><>-$500 million a year for Israel’s missile defense operations in the Negev, a foreign aid first,
<><>-A phasing-out of Israel’s decades-long “special arrangement”
<><>ie. Israel used 26.3% of US aid on its own global defense industry (not on US-made weapons).
<><>-Eliminates Israel using some 13% of US aid to buy military fuel.
<><>-will allow Israel to update “the lion’s share” of its fighter aircraft,
<><>includes purchasing additional F-35 Joint Strike Fighters.
<><>Israel is to initially receive thirty-three F-35 aircraft,
<><>the first two F-35’s will be delivered in December.

The (a) weaponry build-up from Obama 2018 into 2028, (b) follows the $30 billion weaponry deal Israel signed in 2007, which expires at the end of fiscal 2018, and (c) a systematic buildup of Israeli arms, like this one in 2015.

ISRAEL – JOINT DIRECT ATTACK MUNITION TAIL KITS AND MUNITIONS
Defense Security Cooperation Agency
Media/Public Contact
pm-cpa@state.gov
Transmittal No 15-36

WASHINGTON, May 19, 2015
As required by US law, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale to Israel on May 18, 2015: Joint Direct Attack Munition Tail Kits, munitions, and associated equipment, parts and logistical support for an estimated cost of $1.879 billion.

The Government of Israel has requested:
<><>14,500 KMU-556C/B Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) tail kits
<><>consisting of 10,000 for Mk-84;
<><>500 for Mk-83;
<><>and,4,000 for Mk-82;
<><>3,500 Mk-82 bombs; 4,500 Mk-83 bombs;
<><>50 BLU-113 bombs;
<><>4,100 GBU-39 Small Diameter bombs;
<><>1,500 Mk-83 Paveway kits;
<><>700 BLU-109 Paveway kits;
<><>3,000 AGM-114K/R Hellfire Missiles,
<><>250 AIM-120C Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles;
<><>and 500 DSU-38A/B Detector Laser Illuminated Target kits for JDAMs.

The proposed sale of this equipment will provide Israel
<><>the ability to support its self-defense needs
<><>enable Israel to maintain operational capability of its existing systems
<><>and will enhance Israel’s interoperability with the United States.

Israel already has these munitions in its inventory, and will have no difficulty absorbing the additional munitions into its armed forces.

All questions regarding this proposed Foreign Military aid should be directed to the State Department’s Bureau of Political Military Affairs, Office of Congressional and Public Affairs, pm-cpa@state.gov.

I’ve always found it funny with people on here saying Biden is anti-Israel when he has been the largest recipient of AIPAC funds of any politician. The Clintons are second. I just strike it up to the naivety of many on here.

Not naivete as much as it is manipulating public opinion.

CASE IN POINT

President Trump mentioned the possibility of turning tax dollar billions for Ukraine into a “loan. “

Rotflol......Zelensky knows that routine. Its already been tried.

Few years back, billions more of our tax dollars to Israel were handed out———designated a “loan.”

But Israel got its lobbies to manhandle Congress.

The battered, bruised Congress sap-happily passed a law turning the “loan” into a “gift.”

Chomo Joe has invited an invasion of our homeland. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have been killed on his orders. If someone nuked us, he wouldn’t care and would reward whomever did it.
