It’s also being reported that Turkey will refuse as well.

If Turkey did not block it then it would be news.

Maybe some embassies get “accidently” destroyed if the US has to respond.

Ask Libya what happened accidently back during the Reagan terms.

Since our ICBMs can reach Tehran and Mecca, I don’t care.

If the Iran loonies were blasted off the face of the earth, those gulf states, particularly Saudi Arabia would be dancing in their streets.

Perhaps the thrust of the question is unclear or wrong; would these countries then allow Iran to use their territories or that of their proxies; Lebanon, Yemen, etc., to launch attacks upon Israel from? I.E. missiles from Houthis in Yemen, Missiles from Hezbollah in Lebanon?
Perhaps a US adminstration with some fortitude could make clear the horrific consequences of such moves to these erstwhile, fair-weather friends of ours?

Well, at least Turkey is being consistent. They would not let the 173rd Airborne Brigade use the US base to land in Kurdish territory. I guess that is why we have aircraft carriers and missile ships.

“Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Turkey”

Pretty soon our blind support for Israel will cause all of these countries to join up with the Russia & China axis of power. Once Russia can demonstrate that it can hold off the US and protect Iran, the geopolitics of the region are likely to change drastically.

I wonder if they would feel the same way if Trump was President?

They are more afraid of Iran than of the USA. Let that sink in.

Turkey may well try to stick with a “NO” to USA, given the Erdogan problem there.
But rest assured that all of the air bases we built in the Gulf will be very much open to USAF — if and when the locals there see that Biden is finally acting to remove the Iranian threat. Until then, they’re smart to keep as low a profile as they possibly can given Biden’s lack of credibility and control over the Gulf oil being the Iranian thugs’ first priority objective (despite all their rhetoric about USA being their intended first target).

No problem - pull every single unit, hardware, personnel out of those countries- salt the bases and then set them on fire as we leave.

FAFO what it’s like without US.

...I once had a Saudi partner on an office building in the US. He would come over from Saudi once a year and I went to Saudi one time for a couple weeks.

The upper 1% of Saudi’s (in terms of wealth) have enormous egos wayyyyyyy beyond our rich guys. Step on their ego and you have made yourself an enemy. Biden and Blinken have insulted the Saudi leadership (House of Saud) in a thousand different ways and they are just taking this opportunity to flip them the bird...in my opinion.

Which is another reason why B-1’s are coming outta storage. They can take off in Tx, fly all across the world and come back — one refueling.

We’re going to learn the definition of “Hegemony” and hear more about it. The advancing of it, by the USA, has proven to be unappreciated, by 80% of the land mass, therefore, it is set to wane.

The Biden kiddies who are running the US, through the State Department, have mucked up.

There are present indications inside languishing reports that although they are generally supressed, say that the US petroleum reserves and also the US MIL capability & its recruitment numbers are seriously sub-par.

If these conditions are accurate, it is untimely to hear Biden bluster threats against Russia over UKR, against China over Taiwan, and against Iran over Israel.

(Nevermind the purposeful mission in progress to attract a foreign invasion, orchestrated through opening the southern border, funding perks, cash and comfort to unvetted unknown persons and high risk aliens.) Human Trafficking flourishes.
