IN addition to that, I can’t count the number of churches that no longer have a mid-week prayer meeting. Or ANY corporate prayer meeting, for that matter.
When churches which bear the name of Christ don’t even bother to meet together to pray any more, is it any wonder why this country’s moral decline is accelerating at such a breath-taking pace?
Congress still has its ‘National Prayer Breakfast’ and opens every session with prayer.
That’s not stopping our ‘decline’ - or the decline of Congress itself.
