The GOP is a 1/3 favorite to retake the Senate. It will be immensely disappointing if another one of these idiots becomes majority leader.
1) It’s a lost cause. Russia will win. They’re much bigger than Ukraine, and have many more resources.
2) We don’t have the money. We are in deep debt, and can’t afford to borrow money to give to Ukraine.

The reason to support aid to Ukraine is that this is opportune moment to roll back ill gotten Soviet/Russian gains in Europe from its partnership with Hitler to start WWII. The elites in Europe and North America want to see Russia lose this war badly, and Ukraine has been used as money laundering hub by these same elites. However, support for Ukraine isn’t popular domestically, and Trump knows this. Aid to Ukraine would be less controversial if the Bidet Regime hadn’t opened the country’s borders and left them open. It just makes for bad optics, as the people see the elites have an agenda different from the masses of American citizens.
