Isn’t it already a federal offense to interfere with the mail?

Of course it is, but when you have a federal government that fails to enforce law, the states have to pick up the slack. That’s exactly what Florida is doing.

I guess there will be a LOT of wrapping and packing left on porches, now that thieves have to estimate value of items being stolen.

“ If only DeSantis listened to sane people, he would have supported Trump in 24, continued as Governor to make Florida a great place to live and work and then received Trump’s endorsement in 28.”
Yep. Running against Trump was a bone head move.

going onto someone’s private property and stealing deliveries is beyond that. Now that I think about it, it's kinda akin to burglary.... only, outdoor burglary. You are entering a private property to steal.

These packages are delivered by delivery services, not USPS.

It’s already a crime for an unwanted human to try to become a USA citizen by passing through his mothers womb.
It’s perfectly ‘legal’ to kill this person in any way necessary to obtain relief for it’s ‘mother’.

Meanwhile - in Kalifornia, it’s not a felony to rob a store unless one steals more than $900 of merchandise - and even then they just let them go...

Yeah, if I ordered a part from eBay and it didn’t make it here, I have to start over.

Still a common carrier in interstate commerce, so it must have some protection. Stagecoaches weren’t US mail, either, but highwaymen were prosecuted for holding them up, and they were carrying mail.

Surveillance cameras are cheap. Anybody with a front porch should consider getting one. It has given me great peace of mind. You can pull up the video from any smartphone no matter how far away you are.
