A Section High School transgender female student says she was turned away from the prom Friday because she was wearing a dress and wouldn’t change into slacks.
Jackson County parent Lesa Drake spoke with WAAY 31 News. She tells us she told her son that if he and their friends needed anything during prom night, to give her a call. Lesa then says she got a call from a transgender female student asking if she would help walk her into the prom.
Drake says once she got to the prom, Section High School’s principal told the transgender student she could not go into the dance unless she changed out of her dress and into slacks.
Drake said, “I kept asking why. Why can't she come? Because she's wearing a dress. There were other transgender students in there not wearing their birth gender attire. What is wrong with this issue? And he kept saying, 'I told her yesterday.'"

Anyway, seems like a contrived liberal story. Good for the school board.
I. Don’t. Care.
Excerpts states that even mom said “he” for her tranny boy.
The whole Transgender thing is over.
They are going to shut down people going to school proms. There will just be private proms.
Freaks and sickos.
Indeed. Good for the adults and school board for saying NO
lest other mentally ill and impressionable kids fall victim to LGBTQ nonsense
Boy wears dress, news at 11.
I got a card in the mail stating my old high school had two prom kings. Disgusting!
Nor. Do. I
I care to the extent that I commend the High School Principal for not acquiescing to the demands of a mentally ill person by accepting their twisted worldview.
Pretending up is down, and black is white, does no one any favor. Not society, not the mentally ill person.
So I agree with you from the standpoint that 'I don't care' about the mentally ill person's demand, but I do care that the Principal did not take the cowardly and politically expedient way out by agreeing to the demand.
Good point. If it’s one thing schools should be teaching, it’s that males can’t become females. Not unless they go back into the womb and restart the whole 9 months of gestation with completely different sex chromosomes.
That article makes my head spin. As Archie sang, “Girls were girls and men were men...Those were the days”
Is he a she or is she a he?
That will be a lot safer.
I don’t believe there’s a
heterosexual young teenage
boy who would take
another boy with mixed
up gender identity to
a prom date.
Im done with entertaining thier mental illness
