Former National Security Adviser John Bolton said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump had “simple-minded ideas about how the world works.”
Bolton said, “I think it’s important to understand, and this is especially important for Trump critics to understand, he doesn’t have a philosophy. He doesn’t think in policy terms, as that’s conventionally understood in Washington. He thinks in anecdotal, ad hoc, transactional terms, seeing through the prism of how does this benefit Donald Trump.”

Funny how those “simple-minded” ideas keep working better than silly marshmallow-major ideas perped by low IQ leftists such as Krugman, Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota baby, the media, and those weird looking muti-hair-colored toads protesting in universities.
They work in tandem.
The “How The World Works” handbook you goofyass RINOs use is too complex, confusing and unreliable. I prefer the KISS principle when working with the world.
Barr, Brennan, Bolton.
Yes and 99% of his simple mined ideas have worked out for the betterment of our beloved USA. Put Trump back in the WH or bust.
Shut up Bolton.
They're like a mule team hooked together by connecting harnesses.
Even if true, it would be more complicated than what the average American can or is willing to understand.
He says this as if it’s a bad thing.
So ideologued and silo isolated that he doesn’t even see he is making Trumps points for him.
Even the Michael Boltons (the singer and the guy from Office Space) would be an improvement over John.
Hell, that's EXACTLY WHY a lot of us like Trump!!
Everybody in DC thinks in “transactional terms.”
Everybody wants something and figures they can get it by giving something to somebody else — or by taking things away from somebody else.
If Bolton thinks he understands the world, he can try to explain things to politicians, though once they get ideas in their heads they can do even more harm.
Bolton should have learned that from his time with George W. Bush — if he didn’t learn it from reading about Woodrow Wilson or Lyndon Johnson.
Even W grew tired of Bolton’s story.
Isn't that a good thing???
So many don’t get it. Trump is transactional and results-oriented.
Riiight, it works like Enron and Burisma and Bidet’s shell companies. And protection rackets and mobsters everywhere.
I wish this walrus dweeb would shut up
I nominate myself and my buddies to be in charge.
Most of the “elite” spend mucho time navel gazing. Then they seek to amaze the masses with their knowledge of the lint therein.
And the 3 people who watch MSNBC heard him say that.
