why do “gain of function” research? Why do we fund it?
One thing seems clear to me. Moving gain of function research from the U.S. to communist China did not provide any increased safety for Americans.

why do “gain of function” research? Why do we fund it? It is illegal to do in the US, so the government pays others to do it for us. Like torture, we can't do it but others will for a price..............
