“”””. The underlying argument against Roe v. Wade by the “pro life” side was that abortion is NOT a Federal issue but should be addressed by the states.””””

I thought that it was just considered bad law by even many on the left and that it was inevitable that at some point it would be overturned, that it was based on a ridiculous finding of a right to privacy, and the Supreme Court can’t make law out of thin air.

I don’t recall the pro-life movement being based on the argument that abortion is a states rights issue.

I never said that. I said the underlying argument against Roe v. Wade was based on abortion as a states rights/authority issue.

Abortion should be prohibited across the board on a national level. Unfortunately, that is likely to require a constitutional amendment if it is to happen anytime soon.

My prediction is that abortion will be eventually outlawed in the U.S. when this country is filled with Hispanics and Muslims.
