On Monday’s broadcast of CBS’s “Late Show,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) stated that the student loan plan announced by President Joe Biden earlier in the day is “hope” for those who benefit from the plan to be able to do different things, including traveling abroad.

Ain’t that the truth artichoke!? Who on FR hasn’t paid off their own student loans? Not many I would say. It is sickening how Biden is trying to buy votes. AND I would like to know who is getting these nice new payoffs! Any conservative students?
The priorities these students have today is breath taking.
There is another government paid way to travel abroad.
So we are supposed to be regularly traveling abroad? Interesting.

The only thing good about this is that we still have the national credit card, so the bill won’t come due until about the time these snowflakes want to retire. I would love to live long enough to see how that works out.

Because many Gen Z’ers think traveling abroad is a right, not a privilege.
It’s more important than paying off loans, paying rent, saving and investing for their future. “I want it NOW!!”
She’s just as immature as they are.
This woman has zero awareness....she is still trying to figure out why even her own constituents cant stand her. If you can pay your loans you are rich in her deluded world. If you cant then folks like you should do it for them. Isn’t that a great lesson for future generations. People who accept this loan “forgiveness” should have their credit damaged so they dont fool the next folks willing to do them a favor. Let them build it back using financially responsible measures , to teach them actions have consequences.
So insane. Most haven’t made a payment in three months years and ones that do pay a very small amount do to the chances that took effect last year. AOC is nuts.
A “progressive” couple I know is doing this. They actually defended the loan forgiveness by saying “we can finally go to Italy! our dream trip is now possible.”

They are not forgiven they are not cancelled. They are transferred.
