On Monday’s broadcast of CBS’s “Late Show,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) stated that the student loan plan announced by President Joe Biden earlier in the day is “hope” for those who benefit from the plan to be able to do different things, including traveling abroad.
Ocasio-Cortez said, “Actually, I’m going to be one of the few” that doesn’t get any benefits from the program, “I’m a member of Congress. I’m a little bit outside the threshold and bounds. But, if I wasn’t, just a few years ago, waitress me, five years ago, would have benefited from it. Congresswoman me will not, but that’s okay. I’ll take the knock if it means that people can get relief.”
She continued, “And this is huge, this is — people getting the student loan forgiveness, their student loans canceled, it means that it’s hope to buy a house or have a kid or travel abroad or maybe even go back to school and pursue a career that maybe they otherwise wouldn’t have. One of the reasons that’s not me now is because I didn’t feel like I’d be able to afford medical school. And so, hopefully, someone else who’s at an ISEF competition somewhere will be able to do that because of this.

Aye aye Sir! According to Wikipedia she does. However I have also read its actually a minor, her major being an international studies degree. Either way she probably sat stoned through the lectures and BJ’ed her way through the exams.

FYI, International Studies is a BA degree given to students that really could not decide on a major. They could not handle advanced math or sciences. Plus, they were not all the great at English or other languages.
Keep in mind that there are a lot of parents that send their daughter to private schools like BU to hopefully find a HUSBAND. I saw it all the time when I was at Syracuse U. Lots of rich dumb girls from Longg Giiland. Most were of the kosher persuasion. Known as JAPs(Jewish American Princesses)

She did enough economics study at BU to embellish that resume.
She knows as much economics as a sophomore in HS more interested in getting a junior to take her to the prom than anything like schoolwork.

I have a BS degree in Wood Products Engineering (Magana Cum Laude) with a Minor in Marketing. I was taking the same upper level courses that SU Marketing Majors did.
You have to take a certain amount of credits/courses to actually have a Minor in something else. AOC did NOT take or pass enough Economics Courses to have a Minor.
...but only if they can score travel loans, never to be repaid.

AOC doesn’t have the knowledge of economics of a 10th grader with a drug problem to be calling herself a congresswoman or a college grad, both of which she is and both of which she is under qualified
Much less to be stating any opinions of economic policy. She is not educated in economics at a high school dropout level
What about the rest of us who would just like to travel to a different state?
