When President Biden proposed an additional $24 billion in supplemental funding for Ukraine in August, Moscow spin doctors working for the Kremlin were ready to try to undermine public support for the bill, internal Kremlin documents show.
In an ongoing campaign that seeks to influence congressional and other political debates to stoke anti-Ukraine sentiment, Kremlin-linked political strategists and trolls have written thousands of fabricated news articles, social media posts and comments that promote American isolationism, stir fear over the United States’ border security and attempt to amplify U.S. economic and racial tensions, according to a trove of internal Kremlin documents obtained by a European intelligence service and reviewed by The Washington Post.
One of the political strategists, for instance, instructed a troll farm employee working for his firm to write a comment of “no more than 200 characters in the name of a resident of a suburb of a major city.” The strategist suggested that this fictitious American “doesn’t support the military aid that the U.S. is giving Ukraine and considers that the money should be spent defending America’s borders and not Ukraine’s. He sees that Biden’s policies are leading the U.S. toward collapse.”
The documents — numbering more than 100 and dating between May 2022 and August 2023 — were provided to The Post to expose Kremlin propaganda operations aimed at undermining support for Ukraine in the United States, as well as their scale and methods. The files are part of a series of leaks that have allowed a rare glimpse into Moscow’s parallel efforts to weaken support for Ukraine in France and Germany, as well as destabilize Ukraine itself. -excerpt

LOL! You clowns have been missed with your B.S.
Putin 2024
When Vladimir told Tyurin that if he cannot do his job with greater variety, he may need to be replaced, Tyurin turned pale. Vladimir felt a buzz of pleasure as he dismissed Tyurin . . .
In the afternoon, Commissary Snoopinski, his outside man and the leader of his troll teams, reported that preparations for getting the right election results in enemy western countries are well on the way.
ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!!

Join and laugh at the Zeepers!!
“Russian trolls” don’t do near as much damage to the reputation of Ukraine as Deep State threats of war.

Have you ever heard the term "color revolution"?
Lots of those which the West is behind.
And we ourselves had one here in the United States in 2020...

Thanks for posting.
Russia is clearly in the wrong here.
You clearly align with our current administration
Given the obvious, every-day evidence of fascist collusion between the Washington bureaucracy and its allied media institutions, it's pretty obvious articles like this are a hypocritical case of projection.
So if a thousand legitimate posts appear on line and a guy in Russia says the same thing, then the thousand posts are invalid?
If a guy in Russia says I should drive on the right, should I drive on the left?
I don’t want to annoy the important people who run everything. /s
It seems very condescending to suggest that an opinion about border security being bad is some false propaganda originating from a Russian troll farm. Who would be daft enough to believe that, excuse me I must take a sip of vodka — very refreshing.
Democrats — trapped in a web of lies, and telling other lies to try to get out. It doesn’t work (comrades).
And no, it does not imply that I support Putin’s objectives in Ukraine, quite the opposite is true. But this tactic of finding a Russian troll post on a subject that Democrats would rather not have open for debate is not only stupid, it is a different for of interference in the electoral process. It is a way of trying to invalidate the opinions (and therefore the votes) of thousands of U.S. citizens.
Little green trolls are going to defeat Ukraine.
Spate of Mock News Sites With Russian Ties Pop Up in U.S.
And there are a fair number of Pro-Kremlin posters around here who eagerly spread that fake garbage all over this board, with seeming impunity.
I have to admit that the Kremlin is doing a good job at reducing the war support from Ukraine's allies.
It's obvious that you see some FReepers posting here on the behalf of the Kremlin.
I get the argument that maybe we shouldn't support Ukraine because it's not our problem and technically it's not under our sphere of influence.
But if you're calling the Ukrainians neo-Nazi, it's obvious that you're working for the Kremlin .
Stop that!
