A DMZ like in Korea, how is that open and welcoming to Russia? Sorry, but they don’t need to be surrounded. They don’t need to be appeased. How about welcoming them as a sovereign nation, whose needs should be caring for their citizens? If RUSSIANS want change, let them force it from within. IT HAS NEVER WORKED, for America to force change from without. Show me where it has worked? Japan? Come on, they have always been law abiding people who practically worship order, and beauty. Their King/god is who drove them to become imperialist. Of course if we had stayed hands off on them running riot over China, it stood a good chance of us never having gone to war with them in 1941. We even screwed up our chance to have permanent order brought to China without communism.
What we have to fear is, the GREED of Imperialism/Empire. Americans never wanted it, but people who were supposed to worry about Americans first sure did. It brings GREAT wealth and Power.
