If this country is so depraved that abortion is a winning issue, then it deserves to fall. The only thing that keeps me trying is that the kids in my family will have to live with the mess we leave them if we don’t fix it.
A good reason to forge on. I do, though, see ‘abortion’ as a winning issue for Democrats. Look for the anti-Trump/pro-’choice’ commercials coming soon. They will splinter off a large segment of women in this way, getting them to believe abortion is a constitutional right and properly a matter of federal law. My sense is that it will be a large enough portion of the female vote to throw the election their way.
