Same here in Seattle.

HOWEVER. On the west coast the hard rock forming the mountains keeps the vibrations fairly local. Out east it is mostly sedimentary rocks that are a little bit softer so the vibrations can travel MUCH farther. (As noted by this recent small quake felt in Albany, Long Island, etc.)

That is why the New Madrid fault zone in Missouri is such a concern. The magnitude ~7.5 quake in the early 1800’s damaged chimneys in NY city. Most of the oil pipelines that run from Texas to the NE would be disrupted.
