” That’s true, but there is a process to go through when declassifying documents and there is no evidence that Trump took those steps while he was in office. “
Untrue. There is a process to go through for everybody else in government. They are acting under the President’s authority and law. The President possesses Constitutional plenary power and does NOT have to follow the sorority rules.
He MAY seek the opinions of his subordinates such as the Attorney General, military generals, the CIA director, etc. But it is by no means required. Jazz Shaw is incorrect about that.
He can simply deem it declassified and it is.
(but there is a process to go through when declassifying documents and there is no evidence that Trump took those steps while he was in office)
What evidence should be presented specifically?
Also, to date, he is not charged under any of the laws involving classified documents. This overton window is the FBI farce of showing documents stamped “Top Secret”. Declassified documents do not magically lose the stamp.
Books about JFK etc are filled with examples.
He was charged under the Espionage Act from WWI. That is regarding “defense information”. That is a very different thing than classified. That can be anything whatsoever about the military.
This prosecution is a fraud and a farce.
The actual goal was for them to try to recover FBI/CIA/Five Eyes documents about the Russia hoax created by the FBI and CIA.
This is why I haven’t gone to hotair in 6 years.
“That’s true, but there is a process to go through when declassifying documents and there is no evidence that Trump took those steps while he was in in office.”
Wrong.
There is testimony to the fact that he did.
why trump is leading because we know this is all bullsh##
Saw another article on this today. That article asserts that Smith may appeal if he doesn’t like her resulting order.
Can a prosecutor appeal a case? Maybe I just need some prevagen this morning, but I can’t recall that happening.
