Some robbery suspects in northwest Harris County messed with the wrong guy who used his weed eater to fight back.
Video shows the victim trimming a lawn on March 29, 2024, on Renmark Lane near Cypresswood Drive.
According to Precinct 4, he spotted some men stealing equipment from his truck parked a few houses down.
As the suspects drove past him, they tried to hit the victim with their car, Precinct 4 said. That's when he threw his weed whacker at their windshield.

Not hard enough.
Seems like they have good photos of all of them, but some liberal judge will probably release them w/o bond after they get arrested.
Old saying still true.
Don’t take a slim jim to a weed whacker fight.
Don’t mess with lawncare people.
That had to hurt.
“You had enough, or should I get out the hedge trimmer?”
I'll use my brush cutter, never needs reloading trim line. I was trimming the 2 and 3 foot weeds on the hill behind my house, and the weed whacker was using up too much trim line. Switched to the brush cutter, much better. And even better was switching to the pressure washer which quickly knocked down weeds, ivy and brush especially through cyclone fence and around rocks. But the brush cutter is very portable, and the multiple steel blades would quickly cut down a thief.
lol
