Donating on line with a text phone number will result in a deluge of begging texts from the RNC at its little minions...multiple times a day.
Worse dollar I ever spent was making a minimum donation so that my answers to one of their neverending surveys would be counted.
Made the mistake of dumping $100 each into several campaigns in 2020 via winred. Ever since, I get at least 10 spam campaign texts per day. I block every one, but it has only gotten worse.
Recently I went to winred, signed in, TFA, tried to delete my info. Jumped through hoop after hoop. Got emails back saying they couldn’t identify me, so nothing was deleted. I may have to get a lawyer involved.
Winred is a scam site, designed to vacuum up all your info and sell it (or give it) away. I’ll never donate there again. And it looks like a 10 year old created it. Congress exempted themselves—campaigns—from the do-not-call law, of course.
What an awful cf they came up with. And for most every campaign, it’s the only way to donate. I’ll bet look deep enough, and you’ll find dems came up with it. Or china. Or Rhona.
I’m absolutely ready for a class action lawsuit.
I’ll send checks to Trump and a few others. Gaetz, MTG, etc. But I despise the whole RNC machine.
