“Feds wanting complete control over the trucking industry.”
A trucker strike or boycott could bring this country to its knees faster than a military attack. No food shipments into the cities and all hell would break out.
Most truckers are very independent... and are Trump supporters.
I’m just throwing out ideas.
I ask myself, why would the government want real time monitoring of where truckers are and where are they heading.
There has to be a reason why they want this type of control.
If truckers did go on strike and shut down the economy, by knowing where all the truckers are, would it be a crazy idea for the government to nationalize the trucking industry, confiscate the trucks for the “national good” and attempt to run the trucking industry from Washington.
I’m open to any and all crazy ideas because you can be assured the government wanting this type of control over trucking is not good.

Unfortunately not anymore... 2 out of 5 maybe. The majority are now not even U.S. citizens. So many that there is a whole third party industry of “interpreters by phone” provided by companies so that you can call an interpreter to help make agreements and transactions for service, repairs, and Etc.
