OMG, pray for these officers family and partners.
I appreciate your point of view, which does not escape me, however, the notion that one can come in “last place” in a particular discipline and walk away with a financial reward many times more than the average person is likely to earn in a 4-day window, is the main point that I wanted to make in my post.

Tiger ALSO set a RECORD (and broke his own record in doing so) by making the 24th field cut at the Masters. Any player scoring 7 over par did not make the cut, set at 6 over par, which is what Tiger scored in the 2 qualifying rounds played on Thursday and Friday.
