NYC couple sued by squatters who allegedly took over their $930K investment home and won’t leave: ‘It’s absolutely absurd’

A pair of alleged squatters accused of unlawfully moving into a Queens duplex are suing its rightful owners after refusing to vacate the $930,000 home.

It’s the latest logic-defying chapter in the ongoing squatter saga in the borough, which in recent weeks has seen multiple homes occupied by unwelcome invaders who claim rights to the properties under New York City’s permissive laws.

“It’s absolutely absurd,” said the owner of the latest targeted home, Juliya Fulman — who so far has racked up more than $4,000 in legal bills fighting the suit — to The Post on Sunday. “These people literally broke into my house. It’s not fair to us as homeowners that we are not protected by the city,” said the Jamaica property owner.

In Florida a law was passed last week about squatters.

If squatters are in your home, you call the police and the police remove them.

No lawyers, no court hearings, just call the cops and the squatters get arrested.

There's no need for violence when citizens have the law WORKING FOR them.

What makes them (squatters) any different than the Illegals? Aren’t the Illegals doing the same thing without consequence today? Moving into our “home”, and being coddled and treated to taxpayer-funded freebies?

I don’t know if Florida law provides for the squatters to just walk away if they want, or if it is a mandatory arrest once the sheriff shows up.

Either way the property owner gets their property back and squatters are on notice - don’t try it in Florida.

The question is: Did Juliya Fulman ever vote Democrat? Did she vote for Biden? What about her state legislators? In the last election Queens went 63% Dem to 37% Republican. Odds are she voted for the government that’s screwing her in favor of the criminals who are stealing the use of her property.

If Florida’s pols really cared they’d have done two things...

1) Secured the state’s elections, which they haven’t.

2) Protected the budget and the state’s taxpayers from Deep State, which they haven’t.

Florida took care of the squatter issue, stopped porn in school libraries, outlawed teaching CRT in our schools, ended kink based sex education for children - and fired Soros backed DA/s. Florida has also arrested people for voter fraud. We’re not perfect but we’re doing a first rate job.
