The White House moved Sunday to make public its best wishes for Christians in the wake of an earlier furore arising from President Joe Biden declaring Easter Sunday “Transgender Day of Visibility.”
A statement from the White House was issued to that effect, saying the power of Christ’s Resurrection is honored in the observance of Easter:
Jill and I send our warmest wishes to Christians around the world celebrating Easter Sunday. Easter reminds us of the power of hope and the promise of Christ’s Resurrection.
As we gather with loved ones, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. We pray for one another and cherish the blessing of the dawn of new possibilities. And with wars and conflict taking a toll on innocent lives around the world, we renew our commitment to work for peace, security, and dignity for all people.
From our family to yours, happy Easter and may God bless you.

I would interpret the purpose of this proclamation in the same light. The latter words do not diminish the instruction provided. The choice of Easter now requires churches that first of all identify with progressive/liberal/Democrat agendas to make further adjustments to their understanding of scripture to place Transgenderism in proper relationship to Christianity. The choice of Easter Sunday says to me they are confident of further committing this ever-growing compliant segment of churches to the political agenda of Cultural Marxism as a substitute for what remains of our Republic.
My son and I had a similar experience when the pastor of the church he left had to deal with his interpretation of Christianity that gave unqualified support for whatever action blacks might take, because of his perseption of the pervasive prejudice against blacks of his mostly white congregation and of whites in general. His sermon made the case that essentially Micah Johnson’s killing of five police officers was a reaction to our bigotry.
