How it was a response to my post.
It was addressing the author’s statement:
‘Trump said he never sought forgiveness for his sins: “I don’t think so. I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”’
Trump did not say he never sought forgiveness for his sins. He said when he did something wrong he did what he could to make it right. The author equated “doing something wrong” with committing sin. The two are NOT synonymous
