Always United. Are we seeing a pattern here, yet?
A Diversity Divert ?
If it’s Boeing ... I AIN’T going.
Boeing doesn’t make the engines, just the airframe.
This happens all the time. The pilots are being cautious, as they should be. We are over-reporting the aircraft operational stories.
What’s the big deal? The plane was going to land no matter what once it took off...
Boing! Boing!
Last week we took a United flight on a 737 to SF to visit our son and his family. The pilot got on the speaker and reassured us that he was a skilled pilot, flying since the late 80’s, and that he wouldn’t fly a plane that he didn’t think was ready for the job. It was a very nice flight.
Then on our return, the United pilot got on the speaker, and told us he was finishing up a few days away from his home, and that he was looking forward to being home for a while. That was pretty reassuring, too.
I think United must be getting the message that they’ve been in the news, and not in a good way. The cross dressing, DEI loving CEO better get his PR act together. Customers want pilots that are capable. We don’t care about race or inclusivity, we want pilots that are knowledgeable and tested, and know what to do if they’re ever in a Miracle on the Hudson situation.
Maybe, just a suggestion, post news of Boeing planes which successfully make the trip without any issues. Less to read….
Shocking, another poorly maintained United aircraft. Didn’t Earn It.
Aviation ping.
In February my sister was on a 737 for flight from BWI to Denver and they lost an engine midway through the flight. Never found out what happened, and Flightradar 24 never indicated a problem.
The affirmative action promotion and recruiting in the armed services is having an effect upon the civilians recruited for the airline’s aircraft maintenance? Is there a connection?
The scariest thing about this is that if the DEI hires are causing these failures, political considerations will prevent anything being done to correct it. People will continue to be put at risk, and eventually dying, as blood sacrifices to wokeness.
That sort of thing has been going on for many years. It’s just now being reported because of the Boeing issues. I have been on at least one flight where it happened and it never made news.
Have to wonder if all these “breakdowns” aren’t orchestrated in an effort to usher in new electric planes to “replace the dangerous fuel operated ones”
P4obsbly not, but knowing the depravity of the left, who knows?
San Fran to Paris? Good thing they were only as far as Denver. It could have really sucked if that happened over the North Atlantic.
Boeing + United again...
General Electric or Rolls Royce makes the engines for Boeing planes.
