Apparently it doesn’t matter. We make ships so big now and have so much momentum that the anchors can’t stop them. The anchors are just for show I guess.
Anchors must at least allow for a vessel of that size to be insured! :-D
Anchors have never been about stopping ships. Anchors are for controlling drift of already stopped ships. They were most used for exploring ships, ie when you wanted to park a ship where there was no port. And get used in heavy weather. But they’ve never been like in the movies.
