Darts players Anca Zijlstra and Aileen de Graaf have announced their departure from the Dutch women's darts team because they refuse to team up with trans woman Noa-Lynn van Leuven.
Zijlstra announced she was quitting the team in a post on Facebook.
"The moment you're embarrassed to be a part of the Dutch Team, because a biological man is playing in the women's team, it's time to go," she wrote.
"I have tried to accept this, but I can not condone or justify this."
"I think that with sports there has to be an equal and level playing field which is to be used and accepted in good faith. After all, we have worked so hard to be relevant and competitive in this sport."

Get mad at me, but darts is probably the most gender equal sport like billiards, since it is not about strength or speed but visual acuity.
Now 20 or 30 years ago if a qualified woman dart player wasn't allowed on a mens team that would be world wide news.
Still don't why the guy went tranny, also it's supposed to be a womens team, and I can't fault the women holding to principle.
If every woman in all the women’s sports did the same, this insanity would end in a microsecond.

Definitely not equal. It's not just hand-eye coordination, it's the thousands of throws between matches and men have greater arm strength to practice without facing fatigue as quickly as women. Even a 21 gram dart gets heavy over time.
Alcohol and body weight is also a factor. Most dart throwers drink while throwing. It puts one in "the zone". Unfortunately for women, there's a shorter distance between "in the zone" and "too buzzed to make that extreme shot" due to body mass and density.
...and yes, height and arm length are a factor; being millimeters closer to the board and with less of a drop to the target, especially for the thousands of practice throws, helps a lot.
