LOS ANGELES - Many Southern California customers are frustrated and confused to learn that they might not be receiving their expensive appliance orders, purchased through the luxury appliance store Pirch, when all locations suddenly closed this week.
"Are we getting our merchandise? Are we getting a refund?" asked one customer, Maribell Rodriguez.
Rodriguez told FOX 11 that she has yet to receive any answers from Pirch regarding her order since the company's abrupt closure Wednesday. She is in the middle of a home renovation and just took out a $20,000 loan to pay for the appliances.
"I really feel that the people up in the higher ups, CFO, directors, or whomever, they definitely knew what was coming," said Rodriguez. "Why they allowed their doors to be open for such a long time, knowing that they might have been in this circumstance is beyond me."
KEEP VOTING DEMOCRAT.
You don’t need luxury appliances in order to eat bugs.
Rich liberals in California won’t have to eat bugs - that’s for the little people.
Took a loan for $20 grand on top of a kitchen reno? I’d drag a stove from off the street before I hung my credit out like that. Especially in a “build back better” economy.
Sucks to be them.
O c'mon!
I was patiently waiting for my Williams and Sonoma cricket roaster, supposed to be out next year.
Biden’s helped the liberal ‘elites’ and he’s help the democrat deadbeats. Liberal ‘elites’ can afford to take the loss.
Y’all know if you pay with your VISA cards, you can recover your funds?
I’ve never heard of this company. Bankruptcy or flash mobs?
Pirch started in San Diego in 2009. In 2017 they shut down everything outside of California. The picture above was its Dallas store.
Do these appliances use electricity?
If so, they should celebrate how they have just reduced the carbon footprint.
Keep voting for Democrats, and see what happens next!
LOL!
“Who tf does that?”
It’d make zero sense for a consumer to do that for their own use, but I suppose that a remodel flipper or a contractor building a spec house might spring for high-end appliances on credit with a plan of quick payoff once the house is sold. Not to saying that I’d recommend that strategy but it wouldn’t be completely insane under the circumstances of some projects.

If she paid by credit card, she’d likely get the money back...but if not, she’s fair game.
did pelousi purchase her million dollar ice cream refrigerator from them?

If they’re buying top of the line Sub-Zero refrigerators and Wolf stoves they’ll probably need more than $20k.
Regardless they better not be gas stoves! /sarc
Back when appliances were impossible to get because of supply chain issues, my refrigerator door broke. After months of literally holding it shut with tape and velcro, a buddy who is a contractor told me that he was replacing a refrigerator for a customer (he managed to get one somehow) and I took her old one. Sort of dragged in off the street.
It’s ten years older than the one I had but it works great and it was free.
