There is a young lady in Sweden weeping.
An intense snow forcast....
Do you have a way to hear your home?
She also explained that violating the RICO Act is not a crime.
Nice to hear - I should have read further down the thread. Glad you and your loved ones will be safe.
LOL! Yep. My cousin lives in her district and says it’s like being repped by a retarded 12 year old LOL
When she was first elected into office, people don’t believe me, but I swear I saw her on TV getting interviewed and she was asked “How would you pay for all these programs you want if we can’t afford it?” and she said “If you can’t afford something, just pay for it and you can have it”
Huh? What? Yeah, I always wanted that 100 room mansion and my own private jet, I can’t afford it, but if I pay for it I can have it.
And she’s a graduate of Boston U with a degree in economics. Who teaches in that university, chimpanzees?
Nope...BU's senior instructors are the type who summer on Martha's Vineyard and winter in Sydney or Rio.
I read her degree was in “International Relations”. Wikipedia claims she double majored with economics being her other major.
Sorry, it’s all my fault.
I pulled out my driveway stakes.
Blew out the garage and driveway last weekend. Then parked my tractor over in it’s summer parking spot.
However, on the Ski the East Facebook page we are all talking about where we are going to ski this weekend.
Most people are coming up to the Kingdom.
Jay Peak and Stowe have been getting the most nods.
Especially the amount of snow Jay has gotten in the previous week.
What everyone is trying to guess is what mountains lifts will be on wind hold Sunday.
Others are talking about Loon, Waterville and the Beast(Killington).
So, I am thinking about the one place everyone ignores Cannon Mountain.
Here in west Michigan we got 7-8 inches. Its stopped now.
It’s not Winter. It’s not a Winter storm. It’s Spring. It’s a Spring storm.
Here in Atlantic Canada we are forcast to receive from a foot and a half to three feet of snow, same system as from New England.
Power outages are likely because the storm is forcast to begin with snow late Saturday afternoon and then turn to rsin over night and back t9o snow for most of Sunday. The rain freezes on the lines and on the trees, the weight and storm wind toppling them onto the lines.
We will be digging ourselves out Sunday nite and Monday morning.
I would too, but don’t have any choice in the matter.
We have a great wood stove and a generator with enough capacity to run the furnace and the well pump.
Thank you.
I can remember when a nor’easter meant a 3 day blizzard with 2-3 FEET of snow. Anything else was just simply, a snow storm. I still think of it that way. Otherwise, it’s just sensationalizing. The weather stations tend to do that any more.
