I’m glad to see Trump appealing Judge McAfee’s decision today to only remove Wade from the case. Many felt he shouldn’t do that, and instead approach it politically and leave Willis blowing in the wind, but appealing gives a better chance to end it once and for all, and it leaves her blowing in the wind anyway.

It would appear that they can only appeal with the trial judge's permission. Otherwise, it would become a petition for a prerogative write of mandamus or prohibition.
