Russian, British, German, Abrams tanks have ALL been getting plastered by drones. It appears that tanks, like aircraft carriers, are quickly becoming obsolete.

Aircraft carriers are not obsolete, they are still very useful ... one reason why the US maintains military dominance with capabilities no other country has

And unlike tanks, they can be surrounded by a fleet of other ships to be a “first line” of defense

You say that now...but once the drones are countered with a counter measure that will disrupt their communication the heavies will run roughshod....

NATO has not been sending their best toys to Kiev. It is standard practice to build two flavors of high tech toys. One for internal use, and a gelded model, without all the latest shoot-n-scoot see in the dark optics, computer guided munitions, and reactive Chobham ceramic/sandwich armor, for export.

The M1s that the Ukrainians are getting is just a mobile steel box.

That way, when the Russians inspect it and build a counter accordingly, all the latest Tom Swiftie magic is a complete surprise.
