Tesla CEO Elon Musk is defending former President Donald Trump on Sunday after multiple establishment media outlets ran headlines stating that the former president warned the U.S. would see a "bloodbath" if he is not reelected.
Although Trump did use the word "bloodbath" during a speech in Ohio on Saturday, outlets such as NPR, Politico, The Hill, NBC News, The New York Times and others used the term in headlines without context. Musk said the headlines were "legacy media lies" and he made multiple posts Sunday criticizing their use of the term and stressing the need for context.
Musk responded to MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough's post on X, formerly Twitter, of video clips from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot and the caption: "Donald Trump’s America. And he is proud of it. Promised another 'bloodbath' if he loses again."

A history lesson reminder.
Bullitens

Great thinkers and warriors having a beer at the local tavern.
Just pointing out Musk provided little additional context and yet as seen by some as an interpreter.
Auto industry seems to be doing well now that the supply chain is back.
Elon - speaking truth to lies - good for Elon.
Speaking truth to liars is the only way out of living in a permanent future democrat hellhole.
There is a new media sheriff in town, and it is the People. We no longer must accept what the Corporate Propagandists claim people say. This has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt today with this fiasco. If I owned a share of Comcast, Viacom or Disney stock, I would be screaming for a shareholder revolt.
I’ve thought about this and decided you are correct. I need to part of the solution not an additional problem. Trump is what he is and I will continue to vote for him. Rather than complaining perhaps I can work to get out the vote
When I read it I thought it was just another Trump-hating comment (at a time when he's all we've got).
Sorry.
My FRiend, you are most certainly speaking “Common Sense”.
The bloodbath occurs at the abyss that America is rushing toward. It happens after completion of the jump into it. It is known as a logical conclusion of Bidenomics.
Scarborough deleted his misleading tweet.
It was a Trump "error"?
The media took Trump completely out of context.
The media can and will do that no matter what any MAGA candidate will say. And every time the media does that, it becomes another opportunity for more people to see the media lies. And more and more people are seeing the lies.
Quit being such a concerned scaredy-cat. It isn't 1995 anymore.

How many have read and thought about that?
Or maybe you were referring to the beer.
No, he’s speaking in plain English.
Thanks.
Most Republicans outside of Freedom Caucus are worthless. Matt Gaetz is huge. He got rid of Kevin McCarthy who thought it was business as usual.
We need to see the evidence

Evidence? Again where do you think TicTok came from? Outer space? An other dimension? It came from China. Who runs China? The CCP & the PLA.
In China, all companies are overseen by a Party member who answers to Xi Jinping. In China, what the military has goes also to civilian companies, what civilian companies have goes to the military - called Military Civilian Fusion.
ByteDance is a Chinese company.

Just admit you overreached and move on

ByteDance owns 100%
Thanks. And to some folks, perhaps having them look at Trump being the 80% solution to our problems. I once worked for an Army general who asked me what the 80% solution to a project/problem I was working on versus the 100% solution a full colonel asked for. I told him that 80% would give the basic information/data in about 3 days, the 100% would take several weeks, because the Army didn’t deploy units the way the colonel thought/wanted the statistics for. The BG said he would take care of the colonel and for me to give him the 80% solution in 3 days.
Sounds like Patton. A half-assed plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow. Timing is of essence.
