Lone white boy attacked by multiple black students on Friday March 14. Happened at Eagle Ridge School in Savage , MN which serves grades 6-8.

I like to watch “Live on Patrol” with the Anoka County Sheriff in St. Paul, MN. The other night he was giving the crime statistics between St. Paul and Minneapolis. While Minneapolis is about 1/3 larger, their various crimes were 4 to 5 times what St. Paul is.

The Sheriff said it boils down to the punishment that the juveniles receive in St. Paul compared to the lack of punishment in Mpls. Mpls. (and other cities) have a low to no punishment threshold for teenage criminals. So no wonder they commit more crime.

Here in Seattle there was a “teen” that car-jacked a 20-something guy. Shot the guy and he lost an eye. They caught the shooter. He was released to home detention to his single mom.

The rot in the American society is deep. There are good school districts but usually to live in one, it’s too expensive for the typical American family. So right now, we have 3.1 million students who are being home schooled or 6% of the total school-age children.

Homeschooling alone will not solve it. The laws need to be harsher and, dare I say it? Actually enforced.

Good luck with that. Times are changing. We do what it takes to survive.

I’m a retired city high school teacher. I don’t know what suburban or rural public schools are like. But you are 100% correct about city schools. As you noted, they are past the tipping point. They cannot be fixed.

It’s worth noting that some city schools are better than others. My school had a decent honors program. But even that is slipping away.

The problems is the Great Society programs that encouraged illegitimacy and broke up the black family. We no have generations of children raised without the guidance of a father and have not been taught self-control. Add on top of this generations of liberal indoctrination that breeds racial hatred of whites. Afraid of being called racists and extremists, for too long our so-called conservative leaders have ignored what is driving the problems today. It is time to stop being afraid and hold the left accountable for today’s social breakdown.

Just like white flight abandoned neighborhoods that were on their way to cultural rot, whites are going to have to abandon the public schools. Let the Indians, Koreans, and Chinese fight it out with the feral blacks.

It's already happening now. I suspect we will see this accelerate in the next 5-10 years. Soon the only "white" public schools that will be left will be in rural districts like in Wyoming.

Retired public-school teacher here. At the school I taught and sub at, there are always several adults in the halls when the kids are in the halls. The screams (of joy) should have brought them out if they weren’t out already. The blame should be on the thugs, of course, but school should not let this sort of thing happen.

I realize that high school ferals are easily big and strong enough to intimidate and injure adults, but these looked like Jr High students.

Not making excuses. Those who are guilty need to be punished. There acts are not justified by poor upbringing. But we are not going to solve this problem if we do not address how we got here. It is by not identifying and correcting the causes of this behavior that we are making excuses.

A lot of homeschooling is done online with very little input from parents, other than checking and reviewing.

I have friends that do this. It never takes more than an hour each day.

I don't know. My parents took me out of public schools in the 70's.

Not because of this, but because they were run by lunatics.

I can't imagine why any white parent would put their kids in public schools now, other than normalcy bias, or that they just love the material crap they can buy themselves for the cost of private school tuition.

Yes but it is the racial percentages at the schools that matter. Looks like over 10 or 15 % black is dangerous.
