Amazon was never going to locate there. The proposed Amazon headquarters project was to be located in the neighboring House district — which made this dingbat’s vocal opposition so tone-deaf and stupid.

That district was redistricted. At one point, it was the district where Amazon was looking.

Also, where were the 10,000 jobs going to come from, just that one district or from the neighboring districts, too? There was a bridge between the location and other district. Don't you think the majority of the jobs would be filled by people who didn't want to cross that high-toll bridge twice a day?
