I had my annual VA Doc appointment today. Among other questions, I was asked if I could “manage my own financial affairs.”

“Why, yes, I can manage my own financial affairs.”

As soon as they started these interrogations, I stopped the annual physical which consists of temp, bp, oximeter readout, weight height...all of which I know on a daily basis.

I theoretically have benefits, but I’ve never bothered to do anything about it. 40% disabled results in a pittance that is not worth the hassle.

They’ve still sent me questionnaires with all the probing questions. I’ve just taken the passive aggressive approach and always throw everything in the garbage.
