Former President Trump endorsed Sen. John Barrasso to become the next Senate Republican whip, saying the Wyoming lawmaker “will never let you down.”
“John Barrasso is a fantastic Senator for the incredible people of Wyoming,” Trump said in a Thursday evening post on Truth Social.
“He is running to be the next Republican Whip for the Senate Republican Conference, a very important job, to ensure we pass and enact Strong Legislation that puts America First,” Trump added. “I know John very well — he will never let you down.”
Barrasso, the Senate Republican Conference chair, is running unopposed for the whip position. He said last week he’d already secured enough votes to succeed Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), who is running to replace Sen. Mitch McConnell (Ky.) as Senate Republican Leader.

Being a politician is not a kiss of death, not doing what you promise should be a kiss of death.
Trump is a politician, who does most of what he pledges, his personnel decisions are 50/50 at best, that’s what we should be critical of.
If he picks another Mike Pence as VP, that would be a red flag for me that he’s no learned anything about his personnel choices, which we should hold him accountable for

Trump’s attacks on RDS were childish and stupid. Any Constitutionalist who does not admire DeSantis marches in lockstep. He did NOT follow Fauxi’s lead, unlike Trump. You may misremember history if you choose.
My admiration for Mr. Girly Boots evaporated when he “decided” to engage Trump in a full frontal thereby exposing himself for the true worm that he is. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Somehow, I can’t see Trump intentionally hurting innocent people but I can visualize him trusting a so called expert as well as other so called experts, to a fault. Sorta reminds me of Tesla and how he was abused due to his desire to help society as a whole.
I’m getting older, for sure, but I seem to recollect 7 states not bowing down to Dr. (I’m not a Killer) Gnome yet your guy did, along with many others. It’s simply amazing to actually “see” who is “thine enemy” of the American people.
