Isn’t it likely that whoever replaces either of them would be more competent than they are? Is there an argument to be made? Trump should have just stuck with these two because they don’t seem like they’re that great?
That’s exactly right. This “disqualification” angle was nothing more than a sideshow. The more important issues at hand are the ones that came out in the evidence that has been exposed since the story first came to light.
Trump’s attorneys were not pushing this motion.
