If I was a lawyer defending this case, I would immediately look to have Nathan Wade added to my witness list. It might be worth a shot, but I wouldn’t expect Wade to flip to Trump’s defense. More likely is Wade will be replaced by someone in that same circle of friends on the prosecuting side.

It might be worth a shot, but I wouldn’t expect Wade to flip to Trump’s defense. I never suggested he would. I would subpoena him with the expectation that he'd be a hostile witness.
I would just want to sit the guy down for a deposition and have him answer a whole boatload of questions related to the case -- specifically about his dealings in Washington with various Federal offices that have no jurisdiction in a Georgia case.
