I’m thinking that his throwing out some of the charges against Trump is supposed to placate all of us

I agree that’s probably what’s going on, he’ll probably keep her but try to give the impression she’s on a tight leash. The right decision would of course be to not only remove her from the case but set up a separate trial to investigate her for likely perjury to the court.

Jim Jordan is already threatening her with contempt of Congress charges for refusing to comply with subpoenas for documents related to potential misuse of government grant funds.
